Our story

It all began one cold winter day as I was thinking how my pace of life was going to drastically change in a few short months. I was 7 months pregnant, about to hang up my hospital scrubs, and start getting ready for our baby. At the time, I could not imagine how one tiny baby would be able to keep me busy all day every day, and I was worried I was going to miss the fast pace, surgical nursing, go-go-go that I was so used to. Fast forward to having our baby girl earth side, I was proven wrong about the busy part. She was, and still is, however, a very content baby and loved being in the carrier and watering flowers with her mommy.

So in those cold winter months leading up to baby girl, we bought some grow lights, and started planting seeds with a big dream. Spring came around, our little girl was born, and my husband went to work building raised beds and our hoop house so we could get our seedlings in the ground!

And the rest is history.

We loved it right from the start. To say that looking back at my first year makes me cringe is an understatement, but the growth in flower selection and design is something I’m proud of! It has always been a team effort between my hubby and I, and honestly I couldn’t do it without him. I also cannot forget to mention the inspiration behind the idea of flower farming. My momma. She started flower farming in Alberta about 5 years ago now and seeing the joy it gave her and all those she served, the beauty of it all, and the idea of being able to be home with my family while doing this thing, was all that I needed to convince me to try. So thank you mom. The idea you sparked within me has turned from a dream to reality, and we’re doing this thing!

Each year we have been able to grow and expand our dreams and opportunities, and we are so excited to see where this journey will take us!
